About BodySizeCalc

BodySizeCalc is a free collection of body measurement, fitness and nutrition calculators. Health formulas come from published research and official sources, which each page cites. Every calculator runs in your browser — nothing you type is sent to a server.

How we build each calculator

• The formula is shown. Every page explains the math it uses, letter by letter, so you can check it or do it by hand.
• Every formula is tested. Before a calculator goes live we run it against hand-worked answers and published reference values. If a test fails, the page does not publish.
• Worked examples use real numbers. Each page walks through at least one complete example.
• Sources are named. When a calculator depends on outside data — a material density, a standard size, an official rate — the page says where that number comes from.

What our calculators are not

Results are estimates for planning. They are not professional, financial, legal or engineering advice. For structural work, tax questions or anything where a mistake is costly, check with a qualified professional. See our disclaimer.

Corrections

If you think a result is wrong, please tell us which calculator, what you entered and what you expected. We read every report and fix confirmed errors quickly.
